Streetwise CADlink

Integration Guide

Streetwise CAD

First Arriving’s integration with Streetwise CADlink puts live alarms on the screens in your stations the moment a call is dispatched — call nature, address, units, notes, a turnout timer, and a map with routing to the scene.

What we can put on your dashboard

Once Streetwise CADlink is sending us your dispatch data, your alerting screens can show any of the following.

Key features

What appears on screen when a run comes in.

  • Real-time call dispatch as the call is created
  • Call details: nature of call, address, units dispatched, and call notes
  • Mapping and directions to the incident
  • Turnout timer
  • ETA and distance to the scene
  • Google Street View and other mapping features
  • ESRI layers from your GIS department
  • Custom alert sounds so crews can tell calls apart by ear

What we need from you

For this integration we issue the API key and you pass it to Streetwise — not the other way around. Three steps.

1

Tell us you use Streetwise CADlink

Open a ticket at our support center or let your account manager know, and say which alerting screens you want.

2

We send you the API key securely

We generate the key on our side and provide it to you securely through your ticket.

3

Pass the key to your Streetwise representative

Once Streetwise enters the key on their side, your dispatch data starts flowing to us and we can build your alerting screens.

Example screens

These are just two samples. See every available alarm and call screen layout in Response & Call Alerting Screen Options — 3.0 Customers. Any of those layouts works with Streetwise CADlink.

Secondary notification only: our platform is built for secondary notification of alarms and situational awareness. Always rely on your CAD or dispatch center for primary dispatch information.
