Custom alarm sounds for alerts & notifications

Give your crews an audible cue they can recognise without looking up. We can use one of the sample tones attached to this article, or an MP3 or other audio file you supply.

Choose carefully for sleeping areas. Pick a sound appropriate for your agency, and where a tone will sound in bunk or sleeping areas, choose a file with a ramp-up time rather than one that starts at full volume.

Sample tones

Five sample files are attached to this article — scroll to the attachments below this page to download and listen to any of them.

What’s attached

All five are WAV files.

  • ding.wav — a short, light notification tone
  • zetron_tone.wav
  • 1claxon1.wav
  • alarm1_edited.wav
  • tone_28.wav

How to get started

Open a ticket at our support center or email dashboards@firstarriving.com, telling us which tone you want and which screens or stations it should apply to. If you are supplying your own audio, attach the file to the ticket.

Want a different tone for different call types, or help picking something that carries in a noisy bay? Open a ticket at our support center or reach us at dashboards@firstarriving.com and we’ll walk through it with you.
