Integration Guide

Advanced Problem Solving (APS)

Put your Advanced Problem Solving data on the screens in your stations — the daily operational calendar, open reports, and turnout and on-scene performance against your own benchmarks.

What we can put on your dashboard

Daily operational calendar

What is on for the day.

Open reports

Color coded green, yellow and red by how long an entry has been open, so the ones going stale surface themselves.

  • Incident number
  • Officer in charge
  • NOC / call type
  • Date and time of incident
  • Optional sorting to put red entries first
  • The color-coding thresholds are customizable — tell us what counts as overdue for you

Turnout time dials

  • The number of runs represented
  • Percentage within acceptable turnout time, against a benchmark you provide
  • Sort by unit, station, shift or department-wide

On scene times

  • The number of runs represented
  • Percentage within acceptable on-scene time, against a benchmark you provide
  • Sort by unit, station, shift or department-wide

What we need from you

Tell APS you want to integrate your account with First Arriving. They send the data to us over SFTP, so there is nothing for you to configure and no credentials to hand over. Open a ticket at our support center so we know to expect it.

About vendor charges: data or API access could carry an additional charge, determined by APS and not by First Arriving.
