Key Features

Real-Time Dispatch Details:

  • Nature of the call

  • Incident address

  • Units dispatched

  • Initial notes and details from Dispatch

Unit Status Display:

  • Unit ID and current status (e.g., Enroute to quarters, Transport, Available for call)

  • Availability flag (Yes/No)

  • Flexible unit filters:

    • Show all units

    • Only units that are not available

    • Only units that are available

Response Enhancements:

  • Turnout timer

  • ETA and distance to incident

  • Multiple map display options, including Static Google Street View and ESRI layers


What You’ll Need to Get Started:

  1. Be a current Nexgen Public Safety customer

  2. First Arriving will coordinate directly with Nexgen to complete the integration process

Compatible Views


Four-Panel View: Call Information, Directions, Hydrant, Street View

Street view is provided by Google Maps and requires a separate Google Maps API key.


Three-Panel View: Call Information and two (2) additional Half Height Views

Two Panel View: Call Information and one (1) additional Full Height View

Call information is set to the left half of the alerting page. The right side can contain a full height view of either the directions, street view, or hydrant map.
