IPAWS — local and national emergency alerts
Emergency notifications appear on your dashboards automatically, matched to your agency’s zip code. Nobody has to watch for them or enter anything — when an alert is issued for your area, it shows up on the screens.
About IPAWS. The Integrated Public Alert & Warning System is FEMA’s national system for local alerting. It carries authenticated emergency and life-saving information to the public through Wireless Emergency Alerts on mobile phones, radio and television via the Emergency Alert System, and NOAA Weather Radio.
Nothing to set up. IPAWS alerting is included with all First Arriving dashboards and is on by default. If you would rather not have it, email dashboards@firstarriving.com or open a ticket at our support center to opt out.
