Integration Guide
Kronos Telestaff
Put your daily roster from Kronos Telestaff on the screens in your stations — today’s shift, and the next one or more.
What we can put on your dashboard
Roster
The current day’s roster, and the next shift or beyond. Organise it by station or by unit.
- Name
- Unit
- Position
- Start and end date and time
What we need from you
Which route applies depends on how you run Telestaff. Pick the one that matches your setup — if you are not sure which you have, open a ticket and we will work it out with you.
Option 1 — Telestaff On-Premise
You export a CSV and drop it to us on a schedule.
- The ability to automatically export a CSV containing the roster columns listed above — for example
RE11.csv - The ability to move that file automatically to an SFTP location we provide
- The file must overwrite each time, keeping the same filename — not accumulate alongside older copies
Option 2 — Telestaff Workforce (cloud)
The vendor handles the file transfer for you.
- Contact Kronos Telestaff support and request FTP location credentials
- The filename can be
RE11.csv, or any CSV that carries the information you want displayed
Option 3 — Telestaff API
A live connection rather than a file drop. This is the only route where you send us credentials.
- The base URL
- A username and password that matches that URL
Whichever route you use, open a ticket at our support center to start. If you are sending credentials or FTP details, submit them through the First Arriving Secrets Tool and paste the link it generates into your ticket rather than emailing them. Full instructions: Sending First Arriving sensitive information.
About vendor charges: data or API access could carry an additional charge, determined by the vendor and not by First Arriving.
