Smartsheet

Display Smartsheet sheets on the screens in your stations. Same display flexibility as our Google Sheets integration, for agencies who work in Smartsheet instead.

What we can put on your dashboard

Common uses

Anything you keep in a sheet can go up. Departments most often ask for:

Fire protection system report
Unsafe building report
Primary apparatus status board
Reserve apparatus status board

Anything listed on our Google Sheets page works here too — the two integrations handle the same kinds of data.

What we need from you

Two things from Smartsheet: an API access token and the Sheet ID.

Generate an API access token

Click Account in the upper-right corner of Smartsheet, then Personal Settings. Open the API Access tab and click Generate new access token.

Find the Sheet ID

Open the sheet, then File → Properties. Smartsheet’s guide to finding Smartsheet IDs has more detail.

Then send both to us.

Open a ticket at our support center first, then submit the credentials through the First Arriving Secrets Tool and paste the link it generates into your ticket. Please don’t send them by email or chat. Full instructions: Sending First Arriving sensitive information.

About vendor charges: data or API access could carry an additional charge, determined by Smartsheet and not by First Arriving.
