Integration Guide
Verizon Connect
Bring an AVL map to the screens in your stations from Verizon Connect. We take the location of each of your units, plot them on a map, and label them with the right unit name.
What we can put on your dashboard
AVL map
Where your units are, and which one is which.
- Unit locations plotted on the map
- Each pin carries the unit name, so you can tell them apart
- The map zooms in and out automatically based on where the units are
- Pick and choose which units appear on which dashboard
What we need from you
You need to be a Verizon Connect customer.
A username and password we can use to reach your data through the API.
Open a ticket at our support center first, then submit the credentials through the First Arriving Secrets Tool and paste the link it generates into your ticket. Please don’t send them by email or chat. Full instructions: Sending First Arriving sensitive information.
About vendor charges: data or API access could carry an additional charge, determined by Verizon Connect and not by First Arriving.

Tell us which units belong on which screens when you open your ticket — our support center, or dashboards@firstarriving.com.
