Vaisala weather sensor data
If you have your own Vaisala weather sensors, their readings can go on the screens in your stations. This is the one for airport runway conditions and wind speed at precise locations, rather than a regional forecast.
What we can put on your dashboard
Surface conditions
From your own sensors, at your own locations.
- Surface state
- Surface temperature
- Base temperature
Precipitation
- Precipitation state
- Precipitation intensity
- Precipitation in the last 24 hours
Wind
- Current wind speed, in miles per hour
- Current gust speed
- Wind direction
What we need from you
A username and password for the REST API.
Open a ticket at our support center first, then submit the credentials through the First Arriving Secrets Tool and paste the link it generates into your ticket. Please don’t send them by email or chat. Full instructions: Sending First Arriving sensitive information.
About vendor charges: data or API access could carry an additional charge, determined by Vaisala and not by First Arriving.
