Microsoft SharePoint

If your agency lives in the Microsoft ecosystem, your SharePoint sites can feed the screens in your stations — the same job Google Sheets does for other agencies. We read an RSS feed from each site and shape the data to fit your screens.

What we can put on your dashboard

Whatever your sites already hold

We can pull from one feed or several, and combine them. Common uses:

Department news — including images, where the entry has them
Equipment maintenance
Facilities maintenance
Road closures
Announcements
Anything else you keep a SharePoint site for — if it can generate an RSS feed, it is worth asking

What we need from you

Any SharePoint flavour works: self-hosted SharePoint, SharePoint Online, or SharePoint 365.

Generate an RSS link for each page

One RSS link per SharePoint page you want on your dashboards.

Create a read-only account for us

A username and password with read-only access. We only ever read — nothing we do writes back to SharePoint, so read-only is all we need.

Send it all to us securely

Open a ticket at our support center with the RSS links, then submit the username and password through the First Arriving Secrets Tool and paste the generated link into your ticket. Please don’t send credentials by email. Full instructions: Sending First Arriving sensitive information.
