Geotab
If your fleet is connected to Geotab, its vehicle locations and health information can go on the screens in your stations — so crews can see where apparatus is without opening another system.
What we can put on your dashboard
Fleet map
Vehicle locations plotted on an ESRI mapping map.
- The map scales automatically to fit wherever the vehicles currently are
- Each vehicle’s name is color-coded by status
Vehicle health
Health assessments from Geotab alongside location, so a problem shows up on the wall rather than waiting for a report.
What we need from you
Three things from your Geotab account: the Database ID Geotab provides, and a username and password we can use to reach the API.
Open a ticket at our support center first, then submit the credentials through the First Arriving Secrets Tool and paste the link it generates into your ticket. Please don’t send them by email or chat. Full instructions: Sending First Arriving sensitive information.
About vendor charges: data or API access could carry an additional charge, determined by Geotab and not by First Arriving.
