User Guide for Videos


The Digital Dashboard Portal will allow customers to upload their own hosted videos to their dashboards, The interface is user friendly and intuitive while allowing the freedom to take control of the videos that are shown on the boards. They can be immediately shown or can be scheduled to show at a specific time or interval-- allowing more flexibility to show pertinent information on your boards quickly and easily.

To Send a New Video


1. Click on 'New Video' under Schedule a Video

2. Give the video a name. 


Naming your video with a unique identifier allows you to better manage your videos once they are saved.


The name of the video will not reflect on your dashboard. This will allow you to save the video in question and reschedule it to send again, if needed.


3. Select when you'd like your video to appear on your dashboard

When you select 'schedule', you'll be presented with options as to the frequency of how often you'd like the video to run. 


Days will allow you to select the day of the week you'd like the video to run for. You can select multiple days in which you want the video to show for.


You can also choose simply to show the video for all the days within the date range select

Date range will show the video on the selected days. So, for example, if you select to show the video on Monday for a three week period, the video will run at the designated time each Monday within the range, 



You will be able to select the time you want the video to play. Ensure that you allow enough time for the video or playlist of videos to show when choosing the time. If you'd like to select multiple times in which the video shows, simply add an additional time range to the video.

If you wish for your video to show multiple times, you'll want to account for that when you select the duration. 


4. Select which platform the video is coming form. 


The video must be either hosted on YouTube or on Vimeo.


5. Insert the web address of the video

 Should you be an administrator for multiple agencies, you'll be able to select which you'd like to send the video to.

7. Select Devices


You can select which device you'd specifically like to send your messages to, or you can select 'All Devices'.


8. Save it


'Save and Back' will save the video, send it to be played if that option was chosen, and take you back to the video main screen. 'Save and new item' will save the video based on your selections and allow you to create another video. 'Cancel' will take you back to the Videos main page. 


Deleting a Video

Videos can be deleted from the main Video page, however you can also use your videos like a template in which you can easily edit the data within to send it out as needed. You may wish to edit the name of the video when using this technique to keep track of the date the video was last sent.
